North American eyewear accessories brand wanted a manual screwdriver set that could sit naturally beside eyeglass cases, cleaning cloths and frame-care products.
The customer did not need a large electronics repair kit. FIXBUD reduced the configuration to 12 small Phillips and slotted sizes, paired with a compact handle and hard case.
Eyeglass repair involves a narrow range of very small fasteners. For the customer, more tools would have meant a larger product without making it more useful.
Large repair kits often include Torx, Hex, security bits, opening tools and other accessories that add little value for:
-- Temple screw adjustment
-- Nose pad replacement
-- Frame maintenance
-- Sunglass repair
The product also needed to fit within an eyewear accessories range, where compact size and simple storage mattered more than a high piece count.
FIXBUD focused the set on small Phillips and slotted precision sizes that were more relevant to eyewear maintenance.
The final configuration was reduced to 12 core repair sizes. This made the product easier to understand for buyers and kept the tool compact enough for optical stores, e-commerce bundles and frame-care product lines.
The smaller configuration also gave the customer a clearer product message: this was an eyeglass repair screwdriver set, not a general electronics toolkit.
Small precision bits can loosen or move inside a case if the internal holder is too wide.
FIXBUD tightened the internal bit positions so each size had a more secure fit during transport and handling.
A compact aluminum handle and hard case were used to keep the product portable while still providing better protection than loose pen-style storage.
The final product combined 12 precision repair sizes, a compact handle and a hard storage case.
The first order reached 3,000 sets. The customer later increased the order to 5,000 sets and introduced a dark gray version.

The project shows FIXBUD's ability to build smaller, application-focused screwdriver sets for buyers that do not need a general-purpose electronics repair kit.
FIXBUD can adjust bit sizes, handle format and storage structure for eyeglass repair and other small precision maintenance applications.
