The Retail Requirement

A supermarket customer in Latin America was expanding its screwdriver set offering through offline retail and needed a packaging solution that could work directly on the sales floor.

Rather than shipping products in conventional cartons, the customer required a Display Box that could hold, present, and sell the precision screwdriver sets directly from the shelf.

The packaging therefore needed to meet two requirements at the same time:

● keep products secure during transportation

● make them easy for shoppers to remove at retail

Developing the Display Box

Based on the customer's expected order volume, FIXBUD worked with the production team to develop the packing structure, including:

● Product quantity per Display Box

● Display Box quantity per carton

● Product positioning inside the box

● Bottom slot dimensions

The key consideration was not simply how many products the box could hold, but how the products would behave from shipment to retail shelf.

Solving the Product-Fit Problem

The bottom slots of the Display Box needed to hold each product securely while remaining easy to access.

● If the slots were too loose: products could move or become disorganized during transportation.

● If the slots were too tight: retailers or end customers could have difficulty removing the products.

FIXBUD adjusted the slot dimensions through multiple rounds of sampling to achieve the required balance between transport stability and retail accessibility.

Sample Validation

After the Display Box sample was completed, FIXBUD provided photos and videos of the actual product placement and display effect for customer review, allowing the customer to evaluate the solution before moving forward with production.

The customer approved the final Display Box and display configuration and subsequently placed follow-up bulk orders.
